Learn the ropes
We are an affiliated Pony Club Centre, meaning our members can work towards achieving the many badges and certificates available at Pony Club. Suitable for beginners or experienced riders, there's something new to learn for all while having fun and making friends at the same time! For a real hands-on pony experience and to learn all about pony care, come along to our Pony Club and join in the fun.
Saturdays: 10am - 11.30am
1.30pm - 3pm
3pm - 4.30pm
Sundays: 10am - 11.30am
Wednesdays: 6.30pm - 8pm
Cost - £28 per person
You can join our Pony Club either through the Pony Club website or a membership form can be collected from the yard.
The progressive tests that Pony Club run are aimed at members working towarfds their efficiency tests E - C+ - more information can be found here
Effiency Tests are a structure used by Pony Club to guide members through their learing, both on riding and stable management. There are recommended ages for each level, but these are guidelines only.
We organise test days with our local Pony Club examiner and it is a fun session for everyone and lets children have a real sense of achivement for all their hard work at the weekly rallys!
It is totally optional for our members to do the tests, but it is a really fun and rewarding time for them.
We run a Pony Club Camp during the summer holidays and it is always a fun filled, action packed week!
We do everything with our own pony for the week, including learning about caring for your own pony, to lessons and hacking, as well as games and finishing with a show!
Our camps have always been really good fun and everyone is sure to have a good time! A full itinerary will be available nearer the time.
Groups are divided on abilities, though please note lead rein spaces are limited!
We hold a show on the Thursday and parents are welcome to attend J
The days run from 10am-3pm, with a late night until 7.30pm on the Wednesday for pizza and movies.
Payments can be made in installments, though a deposit is required to secure your place.

Pony Club has a great range of badges all designed to help members improve their knowledge at every level. We do a stable management rally fortnightly and this is dedicated to badgework and working towards the progressive tests. We try to work towards a badge every month and like to keep things as hands on as possible! There is plenty of pony time at these sessions and all of our members enjoy learning about caring for the ponies and get great satisfaction from being able to look after and handle the ponies independently.
